One of the Worst NFL Coaches of All Time Is to Thank for a Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Win

When mentioning the greatest coaches of all times in football, some names are immediate headliners, such as Don Shula, Vince Lombardi, and Tom Landry. Then some coaches are often overlooked, and their names didn’t gain much recognition either due to not winning a championship or not having a notable personality. Though unable to lead the Philadelphia Eagles to victory in the Super Bowl, Andy Reid was able to revitalize the struggling franchise and later led the Kansas City Chiefs to Super Bowl success, cementing his stature.

However, this wouldn’t have been possible without Romeo Crennel, often considered to be one of the worst NFL coaches of all time. His lackluster career, especially a particularly awful season with the Chiefs, led to Reid taking the reins, and the rest is history.
