UFC star Molly McCann sang Sweet Caroline with Cris Cyborg and played the bongos on a stranger’s head during Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano went to war in one of the best fights of 2022 on Saturday night in front of a packed crowd but no one in the arena appeared to enjoy their night more than UFC flyweight Molly McCann.

The always entertaining scouser made new friends and partied the night away from her ringside seat at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

McCann met up with boxing champion Shields and MMA legend Cyborg

Taylor’s promoter, Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn, promised McCann ‘belter’ seats for Taylor vs Serrano after being impressed with her at UFC London… and it appears he delievered.

‘Meatball’ was sat next to Bellator featherweight champion and MMA legend Cris Cyborg.

Despite it being their first-time meeting, the two fighters quickly struck up a friendship and were caught on camera dancing and singing to Sweet Caroline.

McCann interacted with anyone and everyone around her and even played the bongos on the head of a bald stranger sitting in her vicinity.

Luckily, the unknown man saw the funny side and everyone in the area continued to have fun during what was a truly memorable night in NYC.

McCann made history at UFC London in March by becoming the first female to make a British UFC main card and she celebrated in sensational fashion.

The 31-year-old secured the highlight of her career with one of the most devastating KOs in female MMA history when she knocked Luana Carolina out cold in the third round of their epic fight.

The proud Everton fan landed a hellacious spinning back elbow to put Carolina to sleep instantly and earn herself a $50,000 bonus check.

In the process, McCann stretched her professional MMA record to 12-4 and her current win streak to two. The fan favorite is expected to return to action on July 23 at the O2 Arena when the UFC returns to London for the second time in 2022. It’s currently unclear who her opponent will be.

“Got the call, signed the contract. See you all end of July,” McCann wrote on social media earlier this week.
